Pergola Roofing Options

A pergola roof is made of rafters which does not traditionally have a cover but it can be covered to create shelter and shade, or left open so you can enjoy the sunshine. Some of the example roofing options include:

Solid roof: can provide shade and protection from the elements. It will also protect the pergola structure from natural weathering and can result in less maintenance.

Clear plastic cover: made of durable plastic allowing you to take full advantage of the natural light while being protected by the rain.

Natural roof: growing your own roof around the rafters creates a unique and beautiful roof and can add to your gardens bio diversity.
