A complete refurbishment of the stairway and upstairs bannister including the removal of a partition wall to open up the living space.

The existing understairs space was transformed into a feature storage area.
The stud wall which previously divided the living space and the wall above the stairs was removed to allow for new handrails, posts and spindles to be installed.
The handrails and posts were stained in dark oak to create a beautiful contrast against the white spindles
The fitted understairs shelving is painted brilliant white and emphasised with LED spotlights creating a modern look.
The previous understairs ‘dumping ground’ is now a stylish practical area with plenty of storage space.
The utility cupboard has fitted shelving to maximise the storage space and allows easy access to the main gas and water pipes.

The understairs unit includes 4 draws and a fitted cupboard. The structure is made from MDF and finished with brilliant white paint and chrome handles.
